Are you ready to measure your mirror?

Yes, let’s measure now

We’ll walk you through adding your mirror’s specific measurements.

Takes less than 5 min

Can’t measure right now? No problem. We can send you a measuring form after you place your order.

Measure your mirror’s width and height

If your mirror sits on top of a metal strip, please include it in your height measurement.

Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. If your measurement falls between 1/8 inch increments, round down to the nearest 1/8 inch.

Height is greater than width

Width and height are not interchangable.

Typically width will be greater than height.

Please verify your height and width.

Looks like you’re framing an extra large mirror...

To create this frame length, the frame will be spliced. This is a diagonal middle cut joining two pieces together. See our example below for the final look.

Measure the space around your mirror

Measure from the mirror’s edge to the nearest obstruction (light fixture, outlet, backsplash, or wall). Why do we need this info?

Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. If your measurement falls between 1/8 inch increments, round down to the nearest 1/8 inch.

Let’s check one more thing!

If the mirror sits close to a wall, please measure the distance to the wall both at the top and bottom of the mirror edge. If this distance happens to be different, choose the smaller size. Sometimes walls can be a little crooked!

If the mirror sits close to either a backsplash on the bottom, or to the ceiling or light fixtures at the top, please measure the distance to this object on both the left and the right side of the object. If this distance happens to be different, choose the smaller size.

Our frame kits extend up to 5/8 inch beyond the edge of the mirror to completely cover the edge of the glass. If you have less than 5/8 inch clearance beyond the mirror, we automatically adjust the frame dimensions to ensure a perfect fit!

Measurement help

Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. If your measurement falls between 1/8 inch increments, round down to the nearest 1/8 inch. For example, if your measurement falls between 1/2 and 5/8, round down to 1/2. If you have questions, feel free to chat, call or email, we’re happy to help!
