How does the product work?
Think of it like a stick-on makeover. The frame goes straight onto your wall-mounted mirror — even if it’s smashed up against a backsplash or wedged into a corner. It uses super-strong, double-sided 3M tape (the good stuff), and fits over those weird clips too. No gaps, no guesswork, no sad plastic trim.
How does the frame attach to the mirror?
It attaches with professional-grade 3M tape over the mirror — not the “oops it fell off again” kind. It’s bathroom-proof, life-proof, and basically magical.
What is the frame made of?
Our frames are made of MDF — that’s Medium Density Fiberboard, aka “the strong, stable, non-warping hero of wood composites.” It’s eco-friendly and sealed up with a moisture-resistant wrap so it thrives in bathroom steam. A few styles use solid wood — we call those the fancy ones.
Why should I buy a MirrorMate frame instead of a complete framed mirror?
Because you’re smart. Framed mirrors cost more, take longer, and require you to pry the old one off the wall (a.k.a. possibly destroy your bathroom). Our frames stick right on your existing mirror — no demolition, no drywall casualties, no trips to urgent care.
Will I see the mirror edge under the frame from the side?
If there's space, we extend the frame up to. 5/8ths of an inch to cover that raw mirror edge. If the mirror is crammed into a corner, we make that side flush so it still looks tight. Pro tip: our frames don’t wrap around the edge — just hug it tight.
Do you sell mirrors too?
Nope. We’re frame fanatics, not mirror moguls. You bring the mirror, we bring the makeover.
Do you sell frames for oval mirrors?
Sorry — our frames are strictly Team Rectangle. If your mirror is round, you’ll have to admire its curves without a frame (for now).
