Our Designer’s Go-To Frame Styles
Designers often have favorites – tried and true paint colors that work in any space, and in our resident designer’s case, go-to frame styles recommended more often than not. Here are Kate Hart’s top five all-time favorite frames:
The Highline: This frame is a go-to for any space. It is clean and sleek and instantly at home in transitional or contemporary spaces. Its slim profile will not overpower a mirror and it comes in a range of beautiful colors including a fashionable gold tone.
The Chelsea: This is a classic, timeless frame that works with almost any décor. The silver streak color blends with all silver tones and the brushed bronze option works not only with warmer metals but also warmer wood tones as well.
The Venetian: This frame should not be overlooked! At first glimpse it is traditional, but when placed in more transitional settings it reads modern. It has a beautiful pattern that adds texture to a space.
The Newport: Featuring a beautiful design motif that works in coastal, traditional, or modern farmhouse interiors, this frame instantly gives your space a custom detail that only looks expensive.
The Pemaquid: Tried and true, this frame is at home in any setting giving your mirror a clean, finished look. The standard 3” size works on larger mirrors whereas the slimmer 2.25” size is a must use for smaller mirrors and medicine cabinets. This popular choice is available in 4 finishes and a paintable style you can custom color yourself.
