Framing Large Bathroom Mirrors
A bi-fold mirror is common in large, builder grade bathrooms. The bi-fold mirror features two large mirrors abutting one another in a corner of two walls above the vanity. They can appear very large and expansive in a bathroom, at times overwhelming the space. The obvious benefit of these mirrors is the amount of reflection when getting ready in the bath. A nice way to retain the existing, wall-mounted mirrors, but soften the hard lines and visual size is by framing them out. It can make a beautiful and impactful change to the sprawling glass in a large bath, giving each mirror the definition it deserves.
Above, a MirrorMate customer utilized our DIY frame kit in Providence Oil Rubbed Bronze on this bi-fold mirror, adding an elegant look to the expansive glass. Note how the mirror also sits on the backsplash. This is not an issue as the frame applies directly to the glass so no space is needed around it. The frames were shipped pre-cut, pre-taped and ready for assembly and installation. We love the look and wanted to share it as inspiration. The customer loved it as well!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We are even more pleased with the outcome than we had even imagined. My husband just keeps saying “I love it! I love it!” every time he looks at the mirrors. Thank you for adding such class to our bathroom." - Sue D.
